The spring loaded front end allows the forks to follow the ground contour. Attachment will pick up and load or accumulate for use with a grapple. Bale Sweep has been re-designed for 2013 making it lighter, stronger and more compact. Dragging hay on the ground WILL: • Ingest bales with dirt and rocks • Wear thru bale strings • If light windrows, 1st bale may be drug 1 or 2 hundred yards on the ground • If field is uneven with dips or old ditches, bales will roll under accumulator • Damage plants, break alfalfa off at ground level, knock back next cutting • Spread weed seed from one area over entire hayfield • Put dew and moisture into bales • Horse folks will not buy hay that is brown on one side
